Ally focuses solely on laser based treatments and their outcomes. She is a passionate believer in working with the body’s natural ability to heal and produce new healthy tissue purely by using the power of laser light combined with a healthy lifestyle.
With a particular interest in women’s gynaecological health, Ally has been offering laser treatments to improve symptoms such as vaginal atrophy for post-menopausal women and those that have had hormone dependant cancer.
Ally knows that everybody (and every body) is different. She develops detailed individual treatment plans with all her patients based on their concerns, indications and individual needs. Your first visit with Ally will consist of a lengthy chat and patch tests.
With a background in laser safety, dermal science, dermoscopy, and information technology, Ally is dedicated to continuing her education. She stays up to date with current research and developments within her field and integrative medicine.

DR COLIN SABAU
MELBOURNE OBSTETRICIAN GYNAECOLOGIST - MD, FRANZCOG
Dr Colin Sabau is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 15 years of specialist training both in Europe and Australia.
Before coming to Australia, Colin completed O&G training in Romania and France followed by two years of medical research in clinical trials at Ohio State University (USA).
In 2006 Colin commenced further O & G training at Monash Medical Centre and Eastern Health and was awarded a RANZCOG Fellowship in 2012.
Today, Colin is a strong advocate of mentoring and training upcoming O&G specialists and is involved with teaching and training students and registrars at Sandringham and Box Hill public hospitals. His gentle manner and comprehensive approach to treating his female patients has resulted in hundreds of happy women who continue to see Dr Sabau for ongoing care throughout the different phases of their life.
Colin has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery of benign gynaecological conditions, prolapse repair and treatment of urinary incontinence. He is accredited to perform colposcopies and manage vulvar and cervical dysplasias.
As an obstetrician, Dr Sabau is involved in the antenatal care of both low and high risk pregnancies. Colin believes in the importance of providing a continuity of care and will see you throughout all of your antenatal visits, delivery of your baby and post-delivery care.
Dr Sabau delivers his patients at St. Vincent’s, Freemasons, Cabrini and Jesse McPherson private hospitals.

Two laser wavelengths – all major applications

Nd:YAG lasers – for treatment of deep-lying structures
Fotona's Nd:YAG laser light penetrates deeper into the skin to selectively target even the deepest skin structures such as deep-lying veins and hair follicles. The thermal energy of the laser heats them to a point where the desired effect is achieved.
Er:YAG lasers – for treatment of superficial lesions
Fotona’s Er:YAG laser wavelength targets the uppermost layer of skin, enabling extremely precise, micron layer-by-layer ablation of the epidermis. The energy of the laser is absorbed by the water content in the skin cells and the tissue can be vaporized. This causes the skin treated to shrink, stimulating the production of new collagen in the dermis. The overall result is that new skin forms which is smoother and tighter. VSP technology enables the practitioner to select various modes of operation, ranging from cold ablation to a combined ablative and thermal treatment, and even a completely thermal, non-ablative skin rejuvenation deep in the dermis.
